The Riyadh Dry Port Ecosystem, overseen by Saudi Global Ports (SGP), is a vital component of Saudi Arabia's logistics network, significantly contributing to the seamless movement of goods throughout the Kingdom. This ecosystem comprises three essential facilities: the Riyadh Dry Port, Riyadh Empty Yard, and Dammam Empty Container Yard.

SGP's management of the RDP Ecosystem is part of a broader initiative to streamline and enhance logistics operations across the Kingdom. This includes integrating the Riyadh Dry Port with SGP's operations at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, creating a seamless, port-centric supply chain that connects seaports, inland depots, and warehouses.

The ecosystem also supports the repositioning of empty containers back to Dammam for export, ensuring that cargo movements are both efficient and sustainable. A key feature of the RDP Ecosystem is its integration with rail transportation, providing cargo owners with reliable, resilient, and sustainable logistics solutions. This integration is part of a larger modernization effort by SGP, which aims to double the ecosystem's handling capacity to 1.5 million TEUs annually by 2030, in line with the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
Through these efforts, SGP is enhancing the Kingdom’s role as a global logistics hub, contributing to economic growth and improving supply chain efficiencies.
