Saudi Global Ports (SGP) is the operator of both the deep sea container terminals at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, and the Riyadh Dry Port Ecosystem (Riyadh Dry Port, Riyadh Empty Yard and Dammam Empty Container Yard).
Dammam seaport is Saudi Arabia’s main maritime gateway on the Arabian Gulf and is connected to the Riyadh Dry Port Ecosystem through extensive rail and road networks, serving major cities in the Eastern and Central regions of Saudi Arabia. Since its inception, SGP has been on a remarkable journey of growth and innovation, playing a pivotal role in enhancing Saudi Arabia’s port and logistics infrastructure, in line with Vision 2030.
Over its 30-year concession, Saudi Global Ports (SGP) is committed to a comprehensive development and modernization plan that will significantly enhance the seaport's capabilities. These initiatives will boost the port's annual container handling capacity to an estimated 7.5 million TEUs in 2050.
Other key projects include the establishment of an Integrated Logistics Park at Dammam Seaport and the development of a bonded warehouse in Riyadh, aimed at expanding SGP’s ecosystem within the Kingdom.
