SGP Precautions and Procedures Against COVID-19

SGP COVID-19 pandemic task force has established and implemented all the necessary precautionary measures within the port terminal and camp premises to mitigate health risk to the employees and visitors to ensure business continuity in the event of a virus outbreak. This is in line with the requirements, rules and regulations of Mawani, MOH and MOI in Saudi Arabia.

Getting Prepared

Business Continuity and Pandemic Plans establish rules and guidelines to ease the workflow during the pandemic. Appoint a pandemic coordinator. Set up isolation rooms and get a leave of absence for suspected cases. Implement split team arrangements such as telecommuting and alternate sites. Identify disinfectant teams and contractors. Establish a contact tracing plan and postpone non-critical training.

Establishing Good Habits and Practices

1. Practice responsible social distancing.

2. Avoid holding large meetings/gatherings.

3. Step up cleaning and disinfecting activities.

4. Carry out temperature scanning for staff.

5. Implement temperature scanning & health declaration for external visitors.

6. Logged details of internal and external visitors.

Issuing Regular Communication

Having a communication plan to build widespread awareness and response readiness. Engage and re-assure internal and external stakeholders (e.g., staff, customers, contractors, authorities, and communities). Develop multiple platforms for communication (e.g., email, intranet, posters, and social messaging apps). Share health and travel advisories. Debunk rumors and misinformation.

PPE Kit

Food Catering for SGP’s Staff

SGP caters lunch and dinner to all SGP staff for both terminals and in the camp accommodations to minimize the risk of spreading Covid-19.

Automatic Body Temperature Scanning
